hello guys i'm new here and this is my first post :)
i want to ask u one thing, i saw the cheapest kboard on the webisite which i can buy with zsilvers (razer ornata) and i want to ask u if it is worth for me, i would use it only to play WoW and to make some music!

Ornata keyboard is really great! I love it`s low-profile keycaps, and mechanical feel (but it's mecha-membrane). You'll love the wrist rest, it's so comfy!
But you must know one thing with Ornata - it`s making a "click" sound when pressing the buttons (like mechanical Razer Green's but they're quieter). So if you`ve searching for quiet keyboard - Ornata won't be a good choice.

Its not keyboard for gamers. Its for normal or medium core users.

Come on now sure it's no BW but saying it's not a gaming board is just unfair.

The Cynosa maybe but the the Ornata has has 10 key rollover, is fully programmable & has full synapses support in fact the only thing it's missing is mechanical switches. It's backlight but dose not have full chroma support, that's only an issue if you prefer looking at your keyboard then your screen. The mecha-membrane keys it dose have are still a big step up from normal keyboards & besides not everyone needs or can afford a mechanical keyboard & where not talking about tournament play here.

Yes the Ornata is more then sufficient for things like WoW and productivity apps but I would warn it has a unique feel & like others have said it is "clicky" nether of which is bad just different from what you find on other keyboard.

If your not in a rush & can live without the number pad I would say save the extra 69k zSilver & get the BlackWiddow X TE. It's a better keyboard overall & built like a tank. It has real mechanical switches which are a dream to use & all the pretty lights one can ask for. It clicks as well but if that bothers you then your out of luck as the only keyboard Razer makes that's not clicky right now is the Cynosa & that not available for zSilver. If you hit the cap every day you can save the extra zSilver up in less then three months.

I have the Ornata and I love it.
I do wish I had a blackwidow te v2 with yellow switches... Ornata is my 2nd preference.

I would get the blackwidow X chroma if you don't mind the sound of the green switches. That's what I have, but I realized tonight that I have to give it to my son. I was typing a message earlier and it woke my wife up again. And she needs her rest since she has got to work. :wink_: So yeah, I'm taking the O-rings off and I'm swapping for his quieter keyboard. Sorta sucks but I'm not messing around it with anymore. With hindsight I wish I had gone with an orange or yellow switch.

Yep Ornata has mecha-membrane and it is a bit silent than BlackWidow, i too am still thinking whether to get an Ornata or a BW Overwatch. It's silent keys and purely satisfying and it's comfy too with the arm rest as well.

I like Ornata chroma, but still from metal body build quality, and easy to clean i love my BWX better. It’s an opinion from me that like the clicky green key sound on gaming btw. Ornata is way quiter.

Yes it’s sure for gamers, the supplied magnetic wrist rest, which is decked in a plush leather material that feels equally suitable for long gaming sessions that stretch into the night. Only the low profile keyboard is for gamers who want that feature. Btw I saw it also being used for gaming competition on gamescom last summer.
