Now It January Only 1 Month Left For Support Or Something .

    Nice to see you guys already dropped support for the Razer Phone. Don't expect anything for the Nextbit Robin with this type of support.

    Just release a new gold color for your Razer Phone and everything is cool huh? Who cares about software updates that fix extremely dangerous security flaws when it's GOLD?!?

    The December 2017 Android security patches that Google released resolved 47 vulnerabilities, including 10 rated Critical Severity.

    Some people are still stuck on the September 2017 security patch on the Razer Phone and it's freaking February of 2018 already.

    We are still stuck on the April 1, 2017 Android security patch for the Robin, is this some kind of sick joke or something? Razer buying Nextbit, closing down the official forum as well as the Nextbit subreddit, killing off warranty support, killing off cloud storage, sending out broken updates for the Nextbit Camera app and refusing to update the phone but keep giving out empty promises by pretty much saying:

    "I'll talk to the devs about Android O. April Fools LOL!"

    Last post by Khanger was over a month ago on Dec. 29 and there was a guaranteed update for the Razer Phone back in January. On his profile he was last active on Tuesday at 4:54 PM so he obviously knows about what's going on with both phones yet won't show his face around here.

    Don't expect any updates for the Nextbit Robin when they pretty much dropped support for their flagship phone already.

    Hey there!

    I'm not too well versed on the Nextbit side of things (I was a OnePlus person back then), but about the Razer Phone... I'm on the January 5, 2018 patch that was released quite recently.
    If some people with the Razer Phone are stuck on previous updates, it's not Razer's fault at that point. For carrier phones, all phone manufacturers hand the updates to the carriers, and rely on them to push it out.

  3. So why is the KRACK vulnerability still on the Razer Phone even though it has the latest security patches?
    This was fixed in November for other phones that have security patch updates yet the Razer Phone still has it? Can't blame the carriers on this one.

    Nextbit Robin has this as well as a whole bunch of other critical security flaws that endanger the personal information of it's users.

    Given how Razer treated Robin users, I had zero intention of buying a Razer, and it looks like they're certainly not treating Razer Phone users much better. I also don't expect to buy any product from the former Nextbit team, because of their lack of concern dealing with their soon-to-be former customers and enthusiastic supporters.

    I was always skeptical that we'd receive O, but I thought 7.1.2 would be nice to at least give us the most complete version of N. I figured minimally get security updates up until the end of the software support period (Feb 2018), since we were promised two years of security updates from when the phone launched (March 2016).

    That said, it didn't surprise me, too much, in the end, because they didn't even keep their one-year warranty commitment to anyone who bought the phone in the months before the Razer acquisition, so what hope was there for software updates. Hope springs eternal, but it'll take a miracle to even get a security update at this point.

    Since we haven't seen an OS update in over half a year, and our security version is 9 months out of date, I can't in good conscience support anything from the former Nextbit team, or Razer in the future.

    Utterly disappointing, given the level of support and care the community gave to Nextbit.

    Exactly what I meant. I don't think people will trust Razer team will handle Razer phone well, if they don't even able to fix bugs or provide update for their only phone - Nextbit Robin, and they just always saying that they don't have resource or support from vendor, and the fact that they just need to handle 1-2 models, not tens of models.

    Nextbit team always supported us before razer bought it.....
    Maybe at razer they are stressed out and burdened.....
    I wish whatever the problem is? It should be solved.
    Also Nextbit users stop it (please reply @Khanger OR razer and nextbit cheated etc.)
    There will be an update for our beloved Robin....
    Please save your curses and whatever.....for the time when razer officially announces that Robin will not be updated

    An unexplainable silence,at least if they have responded that they are working on update or not,even if it is not everything would have been okay
    Now if they give an update it would be super cool,but! If they didn't give any update it would be very very rude towards its customers
