I got the BWC Stealth last year and it was still pretty loud until I installed some o-rings ($7 AUD including shipping from ... Norway(?) to Australia) to keep the keys from bottoming out. It's super-quiet now.

My Deus Ex BWC (only available in Green Switches) is on its way from the giveaway right now. I'm going to use that for work and have my BWCS at home, but I'm now second-guessing where I'll be using the keyboards. Most of the time at work there's a corporate presentation going on, and I think the clickety-clack of the green switches might get me in trouble.

But personally, when I tried the green switches in-store, they just felt and sounded FUN! I only got the Stealth so I wouldn't drive my wife crazy.

    **Update**
I just got my Deus Ex Blackwidow Chroma yesterday, and I LOVE the clicky switches. I was a bit bummed last night when one of the keys actually wasn't clicking, and I was thinking of contacting Support this morning, but I tried all of the keys again after waking up and got the click going again. I still don't know if it's indicative of a failed switch, but I'll try on Windows (it's the "PRT SC/SYS RQ" button, and it's doesn't do anything on Mac OS) and see if it is working or not . . . and then contact support if it isn't.

Anyway, I know that using the o-rings on my Stealth helped keep the keys from bottoming out and made the keyboard even quieter, but does that work with clicky keys? Does anybody know? PM me if you do!

What are the chances that a Razer Store is near... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

The green is a bit more of a satisfying click, where as the orange still has a click, but is kinda suppressed from what the green would be. I find the green to be very satisfying, to be honest. But when you're recording with a mic really close to a mechanical keyboard, the clicks stick in the background and are a slight bit annoying for listening to, lol. Honestly don't notice the click much myself when I'm focused, it's something you get used to, you know?

Just remember that you have to actually purchase an item in order to be allowed to input the reward code at the checkout, so you can't pick up the mouse and only mouse without spending some money as well.

Thing is, if you're not the one using the keyboard (ie: roommates, family, etc) then they may never get used to the noise. Personally, I hate, hate, hate that noise whether I'm the one using it or not.

Green switches are a tactile "bump" when you press and release a key and there's also a very audible click at the bump point. Orange switches have the same "bump" that you feel, but there's no audible click involved, just the tactile feel. Yellow switches removed the tactile "bump" and are just a straight, no tactile feel with no click during the key press. I haven't had the chance to compare on my own, but I've heard that the Orange and Yellow should have roughly the same sound, assuming you're not also bottoming out the keys.

Hm, expected that, still a bit disappointed :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Only 1 code usable per order though. Shipping is not that bad(12 euros), it scared me that it said 30 at first, but that was shipping somewhere else :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
500 is not that much though, like you said, coming here every day it goes fast. And being a member for a long time already helps a ton.

In my opinion, being limited to only one code is fair, considering that they're already generous enough to offer you a special reward whether that may be a product or a discount. I see far too many people wishing that they could stack multiple codes together but don't factor in the amount of expenses Razer would lose.

I know, and agree. Otherwise the codes would just be less easy to get/worse deals.
Razer being a "by gamers" company has this stuff covered. Some other brands allow for sometimes stupid unlimited stacking of codes :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

What I thought would happen was, get the DA code, enter it, pay 12 for shipping. But I guess I need a new mouse mat too, 7 years old that one too :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I am not able to use any of the codes given. It always says "Promo code not found"
Who should I contact to rectify this? Coz I went to Razer Support but don't know where to direct the query to :slightly_sad:

Contact one of the administrators on Razer Insider. They'll be more than happy to sort you out.

By any chance, are you not entering the codes correctly?

    Check that:
    • You are using the "Voucher Code" and not the "Transaction ID" on Razer Store.
    • The voucher code is used on the correct Razer Store region.

Hi, what do you mean by "voucher code" and not "transaction ID"?
Could you elaborate on this? Thanks yea!

A voucher code is a code to get something for free or to get a discount on a product. (For example, the codes for the insider rewards)
A transaction ID is the number of your order
