    Hi,

Since World of Warcraft is still the largest MMO out there, is it possible to include the game to the supported games for the SDK?

for example: show class colours on the keyboard, health and mana bar, notification for ingame mail,
aggrobar, some keyboard animation effect when entering cities,...

Can anyobody with knowledge of the SDK look into this? Or see whether it is possible at all?

So I've been talking to Razer about this for some time, and we've even reached out to Blizzard about it, but right now there's just no way to do it.

    Hallo everybody,

I have seen and used the basic chroma app for blade & soul but I think we can make it even greater.
The only problem is that I am not anny good with programming and using a sdk.
So I need the help of someone who knows what he is doing.

just a few ideas of what can bee added under here.
    - xp bar
    - health condition
    - notification ( friend online, reward, daily spin etc )

So if you agree and you think you can help me out and make it even bather please let me know.

    Sincerely
    The friendly Dutchman

There is often one big problem with Game Integrations:
    - No API available.

We'd like to support way more games with our tools but it's hard to actually find games that have a way to read out statistics and informations. For offline Games which support Mods this can be worked around by creating Mods for that, but that causes issues when the Game updates. For example: I've a mod for Fallout 4 in the pipeline but the Update broke the Modloader and I have to wait for a new version to be released which is out of my control. Another solution might be reading out the memory locations directly, but that locations change with every little patch of the Game, too. The other solution to make something like that happen is to read and parse out the Log (as far as I know that's what the Rocket League integration is based on) but not all games have detailed logs.

For online games and MMORPGs we won't "hack" into the memory nor do they usually support any Mods so we have to rely on what the Game Creators give us and they usually don't plan to include features like that.

For Blade and Soul: I wasn't able to find much informations about any API available.
    Do you have any informations?

But in the chroma apps tare is already one so issend there a way to use that and continue from that

Sadly there's not much we can do with APIs like that as they don't provide real-time information. For chroma integration, it would have to be live and coming directly from the game, which doesn't look possible.

hmm that will be to bad.
then we need to hope that that will upgrade there own soon or release the API so that we as gamers and developers can make it for them.

im still looking around to see if I can fint the files. And I also make contact with NCSOFT so many we can get more out of them.

in my opinion it is the new best mmorpg. Great story line, cinematic combat ( kicking someone in the sky, jump to him and punch him back into the ground ) great pvp system en lots of things you can do.

okay lets take this a different way.
If we make a layout for a class and use basic logic to make cooldowns on the skills and items.
and than many a Interface to select the items in your hotbar it the cool down?

just like we have chroma voor dota2, LoL and more games.
I want to make one for Smite. At this point im looking for some good ppl who want to help me with this. Myself have only know the basics' of c# c++ and the sdk of razer.

currently I am talking to the Hi-rez studios that im making a smal team to make this for them to gain acces th the files.

ppl we can do this and let me know what you think

@njbmartin you're up buddy. As much as I play Smite and would love to make this happen, I am still in the process of learning python and C++.

Making any changes to the game, reading the games state or creating a custom interface just isn't possible for MMOs without an official API or mod support. Also note as mentioned above that most official APIs provided are not realtime and wouldn't be of any use for Chroma effects.

I do however have a rough idea as to how we could provide at least some support for games that simply cannot be supported.

Rather than starting a new thread for each game you would like to see chroma support for, it would be best to keep it all here. This is mainly because the answer to all requests has almost always been the same.
Above are a few threads that I have merged into this one for the reason mentioned above.

Fallout 4 will receive official mod support soon. Will the team be looking into chroma integration for this game as well?

Fallout 4 has definitely been on the wishlist. It really depends on whether the mod support includes scripting too.

Fallout 4 is already in the pipeline for GameDog.

Just needs a new version of:
    http://www.dev-c.com/fallout4/fourdragon/

Which sadly has not been released since 19. December. According to Alexander Blade (the guy who made Four Dragon) it's planned but I have no idea when/if he updates it.
f4se seems to finally have decoded a bit more about the player data. I will take a look at that soon.

The official Mod support sadly won't help much as it's restricted to specific ingame functions (scripting language called papyrus) which sadly doesn't have any feature to give data to third party applications.

Skyrim would be nice. Keyboard changes according to onscreen colour for immersiveness with the important buttons highlighted

As Skyrim works similar to Fallout that shouldn't be a problem (there is a Four Dragon available for Skyrim which is called Script Dragon). Might take a look at that until Fallout is out :)

Having the Keyboard light up depending on the screen color is already possible for example with the tool from @BlackWorx :
    https://insider.razerzone.com/index.php?threads/app-release-ambient-effect-for-blackwidow.9997/
Maybe you should ask there if it's possible to implement a customization to have specific keys light up in a specific color. That way you could set the important buttons yourself.

How about for 'The Division'? Logitech has a deal with Ubisoft kinda like how for example Overwatch is integrated in Chroma to have those awesome lighting effects based on what happens in the game, cooldowns and such. Now i'm guessing we can't just have that too, since Ubi and Logitech have that deal, but would it be possible for people way smarter than me to use the program from Logitech to convert it in a fan made kind of way for the Division for Chroma?

We would love to support it, but it really depends on how the Logitech has been integrated. We shall see.

I know someone is looking into the Smite, but I thought I'd just give some input / ideas for it. As that's really the only game I play that would be able to have a chroma integration.

    • Have "f1" - "f4" light up when you can upgrade an ability
    • Have "1" - "4" light up when you can use the ability
    • Have "i" light up when you can purchase an item
    • When pressing "v" make the options light up for communication
    • When you can use a relic, make the button light up

    Thanks
