While gaming for about 30 minutes on full brightens the screen dims down to like half way if I had to guess.. auto brightness turned off.. is this some kind of feature when overheating? Anyone else experience screen dimming after some use while brightness set to max? Game is world of tanks...

probably a idle thing, it just dims when screens been untouched for a certain amount a time no?

If it's not being caused by screen timeout then it could be a heating thing yeah I remember some older Devices doing it (N5, OP2) when under load. Quite annoying really. Haven't had it happen on this though.

It's not screen timeout, I'm constantly touching and using the screen. Like the screen brightness is already weak compared to my last oled screen and now this...

Battery low left under certain point? Or maybe night mode?

Don’t know exactly about phone CPU, but on Laptop CPU, “overheating” started with CPU throttling that effects the performance like FPS drops and lag, and if it reach over certain point (I think 100 Celsius on laptop) it would shut the system down automatically.

Yeah I know all that, just curious if anyone else experienced anything similar.. it's like as if my hand covers the light sensor and it dims down but auto brightness is switched off... Obviously that's not the case because my hand is there for 30 minutes.

Yea I've been having the same problem as well. It's like you said it feels like my hand covered the sensor and the screen dims to halfway. I know it dims to halfway because when I adjust the brightness there's no effect until more than half. Been searching for a solution for a while now, super annoying to deal with.

Thanks for letting us know. Did you have any other apps running in the background? If this happens again, or with other games, sending us a link to the log would be helpful!

I have only tested on world of tanks , haven't played other games, I usually clear all background apps before turning game on, happens every time after like 20-30 minutes. Had only happened while running the game so far.
