He works on Razer laptops not for Razer. However i do know that more often than not it will be refurbished. Not that it's always the case but many times yes. Shouldn't take away from the quality, and if it doesn't look new that's not ok. The shell of the machine should still be new it's the components inside that are refurbished.
Exchanged laptops are normally refurbished.
Even when dealing with Micro Soft via their Insurance policy?

Yeah that sucks. It seems to be on a case by case basis. I've received both new and refurbished items as replacements before from Razer. Strangely though, I receive new exchanges more often. I speculate that it depends on how far away you are from the original purchase date, but don't quote me on that. Anyways for your case in particular, I would have expected a new Blade. Maybe you can try explaining your case to a local MS Store?

I thought you meant Razer store as well. MS you have a much better chance in getting a brand new unit!
Whenever I've sent in my Blade to Razer for service, I've gotten my Blade back. I had a battery replaced out of warranty on my 2014 and I had a busted screen replaced (damaged in a fall) on my 2013. The only one that was replaced with a new item was a defective original 17" Blade that I discovered was defective the day I received it.
Maybe it's different if you return something that develops a defect months after receiving it? My 2016 Gen 1 may need a new left side fan. Guess I may find out..
Return the MBP and get the Razer. If you care about GPU power there is no comparison.

Looks like it, they literally just released it and seeing as the UHD will only launch at the beginning of March I'm sure they'll restock them all when the higher end models are released. So, next time don't hesitate.

Any info concerning the color accuracy for both display FullHD et 4K ? % sRGB and % Adobe RGB ?

the 4K version is meant for that, 100% sRGB i think aswell as Adobe sRGB.
The current FHD screen is absolutely beautiful. Probably one of the best matte displays I have ever seen. Was a much better experience than my 4K Razer prior. Plus I don't like glossy displays.
A lot of potential buyers were waiting for the FHD model so that's why they are already sold out. Luckily I've bought immediately one but they didn't ship it though it's already 2 days since I ordered mine..
I have this same question for those complaining about fan noise. What is the actual decibel level of the Blade at idle? Is it above 30? I appreciate silent and would prefer the laptop be silent until absolutely required. But after all of the fan issue complaints I can't find the actual db level causing all the angst.[/QUOTE]
its actual noise problem .. left fan is always around 40% without any reason to be .. mine is running idle at 25-35 .. and left fan is screaming into my ears while working .. and as it seems razer dont care .. we are several month now with the roblem and a thread with around 33k views and 300 replies .. no answer or statement from razer yet .. ( right fan is on normal 10% on idle .. )
