Yes but with that gtx 1060 should techically get hotter in the first 2 hours

So it is 100 percent better to use MS. Such a huge waste of money for Razer.. They really have to do something about it

Yes, I Highly advice potential Blade buyers to go through MS instead and add the warranty, $99 could save you a lot of headaches.

hopefully some razer employees are reading this continually and seeing how much of a problem it is. Lets hope someone does something about it.

Keen to see when the 4k version gets released-

This is all quite cryptic with several press releases and review sites saying "Q2" or "coming soon"- come on RAZER help your fans out!!!

Could really do with some more clarity....

Decent review if you were thinking of getting the kabylake refresh and wanted a comparison to the skylake edition:

Just imagine how sweet the 4k version will be (when it eventually comes out......come on release it already- im dying here)

Maybe up to 3 hours:) Anyway i don't care, just want Kabylake 1060 with touchscreen. They should also configuring about the battery life that's way it took a looong looong times. QHD+ got 5 and half hours, with Kabylake energy efficiency I hope they could make somehow 5 hours battery life, less than that i think people won't buy 4K one.

    ok thabks :)
Also, I just ran MRT, and it found out I had 30 files infected, I am not sure how bad is that, but I am pretty sure that it is not normal to have those after owning the computer for like 5 days..... Any idea on it ? thx

no clue since those are your files :). I just drop Music files and a lot of games from Origin/steam/Oculus home. So I don't know what it could be.

According to MicroSoft, they DO QC their machines before they're shipped, which could be true since my 2015 blade was un-sealed (open box). They also put Microsoft Literature about the Blade Being a signature product and so on. I'll see if they can QC the screen before it is shipped. WIl call MS as soon as they receive the BLB blade, before the replacement is shipped.

I wouldn't be so sure. I went through 2 Skylake Blades last year through MS. One had a pink hue that I could not calibrate out so I exchanged it. The one that I kept had BLB that was very visible during normal use on the top of the screen. I lived with it. Both were sealed.

I used my Blade for work earlier today and the BLB is still gone same as it was last night after I pressed on the entire bottom of the bezel.

Hmmm with the new kabylake im hoping power consumption would be (dare i say it- slightly?) improved- either way if u want a gaming laptop, battery life shouldnt be a deal breaker.

Once u go 4k ur eyes aint gonna wanna go back

This topic on QHD+ battery life was covered in some good depth in some earlier posts:
