If your dad would like to learn more about the science behind needing to protect your eyes, I posted a blog not too long ago that has several links to factual data from major medical organizations as well as loads of info about our tech. http://www.gunnar.com/protecting-eyes-one-way

Hey, @GUNNAR_Chad, any chance that these, or even your previous models with Razer, are going to be available in the Australian online store? I was interested in getting some last year, when I had a bit of dough, but the fact that they weren't available here made it not happen.

Yes, we just received our distributor's most recent order for Australia and the Cerberus will be arriving soon. Keep an eye on their site in the coming weeks. :)

Awesome. Now all I need are a few months of overtime (long story), and I'll be able to snag a pair. Great product!

Oh, wait, your distributor? Is that the Razer store for the Australian market, or another distributor altogether?

Um, you realize that you'd have to have them plugged into a laptop everywhere you wear them, right? Chroma doesn't work in a non-powered vaccuum. Even if the system were battery powered, there goes the comfort, ya know?

Yes, I know that... You'd only have to have them plugged in if you want the chroma lighting. I just really like chroma lighting.
Plus, I am being kinda silly. Yes, it'd be cool, but totally impractical.

Chroma integration? I dont even know how that would work but I like it!

    Thanks, it's a poster-size piece of art I made for my little sister's house. Here's a larger copy if you're interested... http://imgur.com/nqk6Dad

We can do prescription. ;) gunnar.com/rx

Flannon, just reach out to rx@gunnars.com and our team will be happy to help you.

We were all actually giggling at the idea yesterday once we launched. Personally, I think thin strips of Chroma along the top and bottom of the arms would look TOTALLY sick, but you're right, completely impractical. Besides, you'd likely get annoyed by the ever-moving light next to your eyes while you wore them.

Haha, I do like the idea of the thin strips of Chroma lighting actually! Maybe, if it were to be an actual thing, it could be more just at the end of the arms so that it doesn't seep into your peripheral vision, lol.

Anyone wear these who don't wear glasses. Do they have any magnification at all. Are these glasses, like putting in night shift?

Nice to see this partnership continuing. I own the previous two glasses put out, one prescription and the other sunglasses, and I love them. Hope to see more come out of this.
